A breathtaking accomplishment.

by   bloolight ,  Nov 22, 2006
Pros: Stunning graphics and sound, solid story, immersive world.
Cons: Resource-hog, a bit buggy at times, stiff default difficulty.
The Bottom Line: If you normally don't like fantasy RPG's on the computer, you will proably still love this game.
Review: Fantasy RPG titles have never been my favorite type of computer gaming experience. Early classics like "The Bards Tale" and "Might and Magic" bored me long before their resolutions, and when the genre came roaring back into fashion with "Baldur's Gate" ...

by   mongkut ,  Jul 17, 2007
Pros: Excellent graphics, great storyline, amazingly customizable, almost endless game play.
Cons: None
The Bottom Line: Oblivion is by far the best RPG I have ever played. The detail both in terms of the world and the storyline is incredible.
Review: I’ve hesitated to review any PC games for a few reasons. One reason is that PC games being software it seems to me there is a level of technical writing required that I try to segregate to my work. I enjoy writing reviews and don’t want it to ...

Oblivion: One of the Most Memorable Games I've Ever Played

by   f6ftg ,  Nov 17, 2007
Pros: Innovative. Well developed and designed.
Cons: The main quest could've been longer?
The Bottom Line: Oblivion is simply one of the best and most innovative games I've ever played. Don't buy if you want to be productive.
Review: Although Morrowind (the game that came before Oblivion in the Elder Scrolls series) has been around for quite a while, Oblivion is really the canon game that the Elder Scrolls Series has needed to do it and its series stature a true justice. ...

by   biggsk81 ,  Jul 9, 2009
Pros: A vast world to explore
Lots of "quests", you don't have to follow the main storyline
