Pros: 54 tracks, nearly half unreleased, all pristine and convertible-worthy
Cons: a big fat nadazingleone
The Bottom Line: One of the greatest live albums, featuring the 20th Century's greatest performers, backed by one of the greatest headlining and backing bands ever. And you're not buying now because...?
Review: This Review Should Be Played Loud
9 p.m. Thursday, Nov, 26, 1976: the Band took the stage at San Franciscos Winterland theater, opening the package with a gravelly, no-notes-wasted Up On Cripple Creek. Around 1:45 a.m., Bob Dylan, Joni... |

Pros: Fabulous group performances by some of the Sixties' best
Cons: Boring interviews, and avoid Robbie's rambling 'commentary' track at all costs.

Cons: a few duds in the mix
The Bottom Line: This was a historic concert and a great box set.
Review: The idea of getting multiple superstars together for a farewell performance or a tribute performance has become far too commonplace. There is little to no spontaneity left. Most of what passes for spontaneous moments was decided in boardroom ...

Pros: Dylan! Young, Clapton and a bunch of guests!
Cons: The Band talking about whatever while they are clearly stoned.
The Bottom Line: If you take the best and leave the rest (namely band members interviews) you will be happy!
Review: I am going to save the monster view as one was already done on this title. This is a great film. But to be honest the main fire power of this film does not come from The Band. The Band writes and performs some great song, make no mistake. However ...
