Pros: Amazing story and one of literature's greatest main characters
Cons: Hugo is verbose, which turns off some. Pricey.
The Bottom Line: "The Man Who Laughs" is Victor Hugo's greatest work. The Paper Tiger edition is the only one available new today, and is worth the high price tag.
Review: Most people know of Victor Hugo, or at least have heard of his more popular works (Les Miserables, The Hunchback of Notre Dame, etc.), however, very few people, even among the literati, are aware of Hugo's best and most unique work: "The Man Who Laughs." ...
