Pros: Profuse illustrations of each bird in a genera by age, season, and breeding state.

Cons: No thumb-index; hard to find your bird unless you know what it is.

The Bottom Line: Used in conjunction with the Audubon guide for it's superior ease of access, this is THE new birder's bible.
