Pros: Special effects, Plot.
Cons: Don't have any complaints at this time.
The Bottom Line: The Hewitt family needs to survive the fall of their town, and they'll do anything to do so, even if it means killing.
Review: Today your going to learn of one of our most recognized screen villians, Leatherface, the man behind the chainsaw. Andrew Bryniarski plays our horrible villian, and he plays the part well. He finds himself a part of one of the craziest families in town ...

Pros: This is a good scare you to death movie.
Cons: Don't watch this with kids.
Review: The Texas Chainsaw Massacre: The Beginning, shows how it all began. It gets into the movie by showing how Thomas (Tommy) came into this world. Thomas was put into a dumpster right after being born. He wasn't what you would expect a baby to be. He was ...

Pros: Great new story, more gory killings, great new Leatherface.
Cons: Same Massacre formula.
The Bottom Line: It may have the same formula but damn, it's a great Massacre!
Review: Wow! We're at number 6 in the Texas Chainsaw Massacre series? That is a lot of massacres! I would love to go down through the time-line, but it's best to start this review. Also, I doubt if I have to remind everyone what this movie is based on or about. ...

Pros: Original Chainsaw writer/director Tobe Hooper has a huge hand in making this movie.
Cons: Incomplete lead up to the story in my opinion, lots of blood and gore.
The Bottom Line: If Tobe Hooper's name on the marque won't get original Chainsaw purists to go see this movie, I don't know what will.
Review: Yes, ladies and gentlemen. The movie franchise that reminds you why you should never take a road trip through the rural back roads of Texas is back, (hey, I used to live in Texas, I know all about those back roads). The cast of the family from the ...

Pros: Suspenseful! Much gore for all the gore lovers!
Cons: Not cheerful for any characters, but hey why should it be it's a horror film.
Review: I am an avid watcher of horror/thriller movies and this movie was only decent. Although this is a great movie to understand more about the 1st Texas Chainsaw Massacre movie, years after this movie takes place. This movie is full of supreme gore and ...

Texas Chainsaw Massacre: The Beginning - before he was Leatherface

|
Pros: Realistic gore, good special effects, decent acting
Cons: predictable (duh), no depth to characters or plot
The Bottom Line: I hope that, after this prequel, they will let Leatherface rest.
Review: As is the spirit with many series these days, the latest installment in the Texas Chainsaw Massacre movies takes us back decades before the massacres began. It begins in 1939, when a severely deformed but helpless newborn is discovered in a ...

Pros: Tons of Gore, classic horror moments
Cons: WAY too much like sequel
Not enough of a backstory
The Bottom Line: Good film, not great. Nicely done gore. Great If you like blood, seeing what an open throat wound looks like, and gets off at seeing people die
Review: When I went to rent this film from the video store, I had high expectations. I distinctly remember seeing the sequel to this (the 2004 remake) and enjoying it like I hadn't enjoyed a horror movie in some time, so naturally, I held a similar expectation ...

Pros: Good scenes, realistic.
Cons: Too much blood
The Bottom Line: Like I said very realistic, and a great movie to get your blood going.
Review: This last week, I was able to watch The Texas Chainsaw Massacre: The Beginning. The week before I watched the 2003 movie. I will be honest both movies were very disturbing. I expected a scary movie that would give me nightmares but I got a movie that ...

Pros: Good gore and character development.
Cons: There's nothing all that new here.
The Bottom Line: If you wanna see Leatherface saw some people up, check it out.
Review: TCM: The Beginning combines two of the newest Hollywood fads, especially for horror movies. Remakes and prequels. This is a prequel to a remake, which is definitely a new way to go. And it's not all that bad, really. There's good ...
