Pros: it can be hilarious; fascinating ideas and characters
Cons: unless you've studied Nietzsche, you'll need the translator's notes
The Bottom Line: If this ever bores you, maybe you're not ready for it. Of course, read this only when you've had plenty of sleep!
Review:
*Disclaimer* The following review may incite disgust or excitability of a higher nature, such as holy laughter, depending on ones understanding of God. You may be offended that I review such a book on Easter weekend if your nature is of the... |

Pros: Unimaginable, brain wrecking thought and language that will charm you.
Cons: A little bit of understanding of Nietzsche philosophy and life preferable.
The Bottom Line: Read it if see yourself as a critical thinker, analyze it chew very slowly...there can be sharp bones inside.
Review:

Pros: His words are like chocolate on a cloudy day.
Cons: Requires clearness of vision to understand fully.
Review: Wonderful prose expresses Nietzsche's gift of enlightenment as this one believes it happened to him. An uplifting story of optimism and vision, we travel with Zarathustra to mountains of glory and the valleys of men.
It was fascinating to... |

Pros: A thought provoking classic.
Cons: Difficult to read for an extended amount of time.
The Bottom Line: This book is simple in it's language but profound in its words and I would recommend it to anyone who is interested in philosophy.
Review: My first encounter with Nietzsche is the book Thus Spoke Zarathustra. Every other page is either covered with notes or underlined sentences. The beginning threw me off because I did not expect to be reading short moral stories, instead I...
