Luxury for the Eyes

by   Manyacs47 ,  Apr 25, 2007
Pros: Beautiful picture, easily programmed
Cons: limited network capabilities
The Bottom Line: Unless you feel the need for a LCD or plasma, this is a great addition, including furniture value, to any entertainment room.
Review: The Toshiba 62HMX95 is a spectacular addition to any media room. With strong competition from Plasma and LCD screens, the DLP projection boxes are increasingly affordable. This Toshiba unit offers incredibly sharp pictures, with very vivid colors ...

Toshiba 62HMX95 62in. HDTV Television

by   Kimberleih ,  Jan 27, 2007
Pros: Big beautiful clear picture.
Cons: Down time because of bad bulb, under warranty and fixable.
The Bottom Line: I would buy this unit again. Toshiba needs to buy better bulbs in their initial offering of this unit, instead of sending a better quality bulb later.
Review: The Toshiba Cinema Series 62" is an awesome purchase! DLP stands for Digital Light Processing. We bought our Cinema Series in November '05 and so far, have not regretted this addition to our family room. The only problem we have had so far, has been the ...

Terrible TV by equally terrible manufacture

by   cosumer ,  Jan 20, 2008
Pros: Thanks god for the extended store warrantee
Cons: I wouldn't buy any Toshiba product ever.
The Bottom Line: Learn from me, I paid $3000 for this and after 2 years is not working at all. And Toshiba expects me to go out and buy another one.
Review: With everyone who got the HDTV fever, I went out and purchased this TV for $3000(plus $1000 for sound system, $500 for the stand and $200 for cables and $80 for cable with the HD Channels every month) in 2005, it worked beautifully for 6 months, but ...

Toshiba blows

by   melisa78 ,  May 8, 2009
Pros: Great picture when TV works
Cons: Lamp
Review: 62HMX95 is not worth $3 let alone my $3000.  Bought it in January of 2006 and already had the bulb go out 3 times.  I paid a tech $300 to come out and replace since of course started happening after warranty expired.  This last time I find ...
