Pros: cool concept, innovative use of touch screen, plenty of operations, anime-style characters
Cons: unrealistic, plot a bit bland, lacks replay value
The Bottom Line: Trauma Center is worth a rental for anyone looking for a new type of NDS game to entertain themselves with.
Review: Trauma Center (TC) for the Nintendo DS is just one of those rare games that utilize the touch screen in a fun way. Rather than wielding a stylus, you get to imagine yourself into the position of a surgeon wielding a scalpel. Although the ...

Pros: A fun, quirky medical title that could teach you something
Cons: Touches aren't always recognized, gets hectic very quickly
The Bottom Line: A fun medical title, this game has a good story and fun gameplay dynamics. You will want lots of patience, but be prepared to learn something, too!
Review: The best man from our wedding brought this over to our house one night, when he was letting us preview the DS that he was selling to my husband. I remember reading some reviews about this game and was interested for two reasons: 1) I had been in ...

Pros: -So much variety(one operation is done on a plane), most unique DS game
Cons: -After the 7 hours it takes to beat, it's mostly over.
The Bottom Line: This game is a crazy surgical rush. It may take 7 hours to completely beat the game, but all the practice it takes to actually beat the game isn't counted.
Review: Trauma Center: Under the Knife follows a rookie doctor, Greg Stiles, in his quest to become the worlds greatest surgeon. He has instant success as soon as he finds out he has a great gift to concentrate at a much higher level than the average human, ...

The Bottom Line: Anyone who'd like to try something truly unique should give Trauma Center a chance.
Review: Trauma Center: Under the Knife Platform: Nintendo DS Release Date: 10/4/05 Publisher: Atlus Developer: Atlus Ten years ago, a game like Trauma Center never would have made it out of Japan. Precisely what about the video game industry has ...

Pros: Intense gameplay, excellent engine, and so many other things done right.
Cons: The game is relatively short, keeping you occupied for a few weeks.
The Bottom Line: This game is worth your money, and the simulation is excellent. A great value.
Review: If you haven't already heard of this game, you're truly missing out. Trauma Center: Under the Knife for Nintendo DS was (and still is) the best (if not only) surgery simulator, ever. You play as a young surgeon by the name of Derek Stiles. You join a ...

Pros: Great use of Stylus, adrenaline pumping gameplay
Cons: Nonsensical story, steep difficulty, average sound/music and graphics.
The Bottom Line: Get this game! That is, if you can stomach some mild animated blood.
Review: Ever since the Nintendo DS debut, people have been thinking, "this is just another gaming gimmick." After a few initial rounds of uninspired and lazy games, Trauma Center comes into the fold with such a unique spin on stylus use on the DS. I can ...
