X-Files - The Complete Second Season

excellent balance of ongoing stories and stand-alone stories, characters fleshed out, good comic moments

The Bottom Line: Building off the first season, the second set of DVD's from the X-Files vault improved upon every facet of the show, and really set the groundwork for future episodes.
