It does everything I need and so much more.

by   hahnsolo ,  Jan 14, 2005
Pros: Fast processor, mp3s, shoots still and video images, SD expansion slot, cool apps included, customizable.
Cons: No flash for camera. No cover for camera lens. No printed manual. No keyboard.
The Bottom Line: If you're looking for a full-featured PDA with lots of neat gizmos built in, you will be hard pressed to find a better one.
Review: My wife was so excited before Christmas; she'd been researching handhelds for months, and had finally found the perfect one for me. A Sony Clie PEG-NX80V. Unfortunately, the company from which she ordered it waited until 2 days before Christmas to tell ...

Palm Zire 72s: "Silver" Is Gold

by   truegenius ,  Nov 18, 2005
Pros: Larger, brighter, crisper color LCD than low-end Palm units, fast processor, built-in digital camera.
Cons: Might be a bit pricey for those seeking to spend under $150.
The Bottom Line: The Zire 72s is a stylish Palm that corrects many of Palm's earlier missteps. Its beautiful color LCD, SD card slot, and digital camera make this a must-have.
Review: Palm has now been in the PDA game for many years. The makers of the original Palm Pilot have been through many generations of the handheld electronic organizer, many of which I've owned. In the Zire 72s, a lot of the flaws in previous Palm units are ...

Great for the PDA first timer or the seasoned pro!

by   fayancie ,  May 5, 2005
Pros: Very Mac friendly, easy setup, stylish, fast, availability of software to enhance your handheld experiences!
Cons: Web only accessible via 5 Bluetooth cell phone models, auto shuts down too quickly!
The Bottom Line: I would highly recommend this one - the Zire 72 is the best of the Zire line and as much a workhorse as the much more expensive ones.
Review: This is the first review I have ever written for Epinions, but after seeing that the Zire 72 only had one review, I felt that this product deserves even more praise! I have had the Zire 72 Special Edition for a little more than a month, and so far am ...

My second brain

by   scribbybean ,  Dec 2, 2007
Pros: Good graphics, decent memory and storage options.
Cons: The battery will die at some point. Replacing the battery may lose the camera funtionality.
The Bottom Line: This is a great PDA for anyone looking to help keep track of their life. Throw in an MP3 player, camera and video capablility, and you're got a no-brainer!
Review: I bought my Palm Zire 72 over three years ago and I've just recently had to replace the battery. That is the extent of my complaints of this wonderful little machine. It is expandable to the extent of whatever SD cards you choose to use. I've used ...

The Best Combination of Organization and Fun!

by   jofay ,  Jun 29, 2005
Pros: camera, mp3 player, fast processor, colorful screen, capabilities, etc.
Cons: can be a little tricky to use all the features correctly
The Bottom Line: This pda has so many features and capabilites, you'll be amazed by all the different things it can do.
Review: I recently purchased the Palm Zire 72 Special Edition and I love it. I spent about 6 months doing research on PDAs and after going through hundreds of website I finally got this one. It is great because it has so many features and abilities. 1. ...

Perfection in the palm of your hand

by   knitsnbytes ,  Sep 20, 2005
Pros: Excellent functions for the money, easy to use, plenty of features.
Cons: Battery is not replaceable, no WiFi. No desktop cradle
The Bottom Line: As as PDA, I give this full marks. If you need internet and phone, you might consider a Treo or other model. Ergonomics are good, many features. Fun to use
Review: I had a Palm III followed by a Palm V and I was pretty pleased with both these older model PDAs. After some study, I opted for a Palm Zire 72 and I am very pleased with the features. Important to me, the Zire 72 has Palm's suite of information ...

AWESOME PDA

by   guinterpret ,  Aug 19, 2005
Pros: 320x320 color backlit screen, audio/video, camera, 32mb memory, video/voice recorder...I can go on and on
Cons: Picture and video quality is OK. Battery life is pretty good but could be better
The Bottom Line: Great product for beginners, students, and gadget lovers. Not quiet for the Business Pros, but it'll do. Excellent for showing off to friends.
Review: Great PDA for the gadget freak. Awesome 320 x 320 resolution screen, small and light, plays video and audio, built in Bluetooth, expansion slot, built in camera for pics or video, a voice recorder, built in speaker, WHAT MORE COULD YOU ASK FOR? Whether ...

PalmOne Zire 72 Handheld

by   pood_mcdood ,  Jul 1, 2005
Pros: Can do nearly anything one could want a Palm Pilot to do within reason.
Cons: Worst problem: Sound of the screen
Review: This is the best of the PalmOne Zire handhelds. It can play music, take pictures, take videos, access the internet (using a PalmOne Wi-Fi card), be a universal remote control (with software not included), and still can perform all of the usual Palm Pilot ...

Awesome PDA

by   mo_cushla_1 ,  Feb 9, 2006
Pros: Super fast processor, Bluetooth capability, beautiful color screen, quiet, great software.
Cons: None!
Review: This is my first PDA and I am in love! I purchased it from Overstock.com as a blemished item. Blemished? Where's the blemish? It's PERFECT!! I'm thinking the people with the "whiny" screen had a defective PDA and should look into an exchange or ...

Outstanding Experience!

by   chembob ,  Aug 3, 2005
Pros: Swiss army knife handheld! Bright screen. Perfect for the GTD method. Solid metal body.
Cons: Few. Heavy storage needs expansion card. Bluetooth synchronization slow but USB cable is provided.
Review: I recently purchased a Palm Zire 72s and have nothing but GOOD to say about it. I haven't owned a handheld since the Palm III and have depended solely on my laptops (currently a 17 inch Apple PowerBook). I've implemented the Getting Things Done system ...
