Pros: A satisfying read, especially if you're drawn to the tiniest details of historical research.

Cons: There is nothing negative about this book in this reader's opinion.

The Bottom Line:

I strongly recommend this book.  It reads like a wonderful novel, where you feel personally acquainted with family members and understand how events and circumstances shape the characters.

The Bottom Line: At book's end it seemed that, even though he wavered toward life's riches of travel and adventure, Roosevelt was destined to the presidency .
