Serenity on wheels

by   Windowphobe ,  Jul 19, 2006
Pros: Tons of power, lots of space, 20-plus mpg
Cons: Prefers premium fuel, parts priced like Pentagon procurement
The Bottom Line: Lushness and litheness in the same car: if you like to drive and don't mind being coddled, this is your ride.
Review: Luxury cars? Not for me. I'm the sort of person who eats pot roast and drinks iced tea and generally keeps it simple. Then my beloved Mazda 626 was destroyed by one of Mother Nature's dumber creatures and suddenly I found myself car-shopping, and I ...

Still Going Strong

by   oconor ,  Aug 31, 2008
Pros: Good ride, quiet, decent mileage, nice stereo, good safety results, well-made, good value.
Cons: Small trunk for a 4-door sedan, it is expensive to replace a Bose factory stereo.
The Bottom Line: If you need a good used car to go the distance for you this is it. The Infiniti I30 is a keeper.
Review: Eight years later, this is still a good car with no more maintenance work done on it than what’s required according to Infiniti’s factory maintenance schedule. I acquired the car in 2007 from a family member who had done a decent job of ...

Forget the Lexus! The Y2K I30 blows it away --in EVERY way!

by   MattCA ,  Apr 21, 2000
Pros: Most for your money, great looking, awesome engine, limo-like rear seats, award-winning reliability and customer service
Cons: Navigation system not available just yet (soon, apparently)
Review: No kidding. The fall '99 introduction of the new 2000 Infiniti I30 (and I30t) effectively rendered the Lexus ES300 totally obsolete. In fact, as of the end of March, 2000 the I30 was outselling the Lexus ES300 by 18%, nationwide in the US. Ready?...

More bang for your buck

by   akadjjay ,  Jan 9, 2009
Pros: Value!, Performance , Interior , Comfortable! , Quite , Reliability , Luxurious , Braking.
Cons: Mileage is fine ok but could be better I get between 20 and 25mpgs.
The Bottom Line: Buy this car or its cousin the Maxima GLE! Excellent Value I'm so happy I bought this car!
Review: Every time I get into my I30t I love it even more. Considering what this cars true competion is (Lexus ES300 and Acura CL) this car is a dream when you include the price difference. I recently bought my  2000 I30t in very good condition ...

Luxury car at an affordable price

by   msilvermare ,  Apr 27, 2000
Pros: Roomy, luxurious, powerful car at an affordable price
Cons: Car is not immune to traffic tickets.
Review: On a recent trip to San Francisco, I reserved the usual compact Chevy from Enterprise car rental. However, because they kept me waiting for over 30 minutes, they felt guilty and upgraded me to a green I30 Infiniti. Kudos to Enterprise! After driving...

My 3rd I30

by   jordango ,  Nov 18, 2000
Pros: Lots of fun to drive, great price, feature packed, beautiful car
Cons: The Navigation system is too expensive, doesn't get good gas mileage
Review: I just acquired my 3rd I30, this time a 2000 model, and after just over 1,000 miles, I'm very happy. The car is luxurious, roomy, comfortable, and drives very nice.

The I30 is sleek and attractive, MUCH more attractive than the (by...

Infinity vs Lexus

by   beharris ,  Nov 23, 2000
Pros: Standard features
Cons: none
Review: I bought the Infinity 2000 I-30 after extensive research. I owned a Lexus ES 300 for 7 years. Although this Lexus was a top notch car, it does not measure up to the luxury Infinity I-30.

First, the Infinity offers more leg room in the rear,...

what do you do with $20,000?

by   dynastyp84 ,  May 7, 2003
Pros: it looks great, love the sunshade, great speed and engine. leather is nice. great $$
Cons: which there were more horsepower.
The Bottom Line: Anyone who is looking for a nice ride at a low price should get this car.
Review: I am a 19 year old living in new york and at my age, you have to have a fancy car to get around in or your nothing.
So my dad and I decided to shop around for a car. Now being that I'm expensive, I thougth a mercedes would be great for me. But...

Infiniti is Best for the Price.

by   jdcoma ,  Jun 15, 2000
Pros: Good looks, fair price.
Cons: Recognition factor (if you're shallow.)
Review: At $29,000, the I30 offers solid value, strong performance and just the right touches of luxury. How do I know? Hey folks, I bought one.

With leather seats, shiny wood trim and a top-quality showroom experience, the I30 easily convinced me...

Not just a glorified Maxima

by   thecontourguy ,  Jun 17, 2001
Pros: Nice engine, phenomenal brakes, feels expensive, good stereo
Cons: Styling a bit quirky, could use more power
The Bottom Line: A great sport luxury sedan that is sure to tromp its competitors and impress your neighbors and friends!
Review: I actually own a 2001, but they are essentially the same. Make sure you order the touring package...you're missing the best part of this car without it. The engine is silky smooth and has won Ward's Automotive's best engine for 8 years in a row....they...
