Good job yet again for PalmOne...

by   greenglowz ,  Jul 7, 2005
Pros: Landscape view, 4GB storage, WiFi, 4GB storage, bluetooth, 4GB storage...
Cons: Nothing
The Bottom Line: Great PDA for power users (especially tech savvy business professionals or college students), and BeachCamera.com sells them for only $422!
Review: I have been using and relying HEAVILY on PalmOS handhelds since the late 90s because I cannot remember a thing if I don't write it down... After my Tungsten|E recently suffered an untimely death (busted screen), I decided to see it as an opportunity ...

by   mixor ,  Jul 3, 2005
Pros: 4GB MD; brushed aluminum; portrait/landscape button; bright colorful screen
Cons: Carry case too basic; no cradle; 1 day battery use;

Vital to my day to day life!

by   coolfellow ,  Aug 28, 2006
Pros: Stable, tough, useful; an all around must have!
Cons: Limited battery life if you run all available features simultaneously.
Review: I have used my LifeDrive for one year now and I cannot imagine life without it! I am a college student and I find it much easier to type class notes on the infrared keyboard than it is to drag my laptop around. I listen to music while walking to class ...

by   shhepinions ,  Jul 13, 2005
Pros: Wifi; Bluetooth; 4Gb hard drive; very clear screen
Cons: Occasional crashes; no access to applications in drive mode
The Bottom Line: Although there are still improvements to be made, this device is really useful, so buy it
Review: I was very excited when I heard that a new Palm was coming out. Since I got my first m100 six years ago, I’ve watched developments with interest. Over the period, I’ve upgraded to the m505 and the Tungsten T. I was tempted by the Tungsten T3 but ...

Palm Life Drive

by   smiling1809 ,  Dec 22, 2005
Pros: Great display, 3.85GB hard drive, wireless internet capabilities, Bluetooth compatable, great programs.
Cons: Lags when accessing programs, music skips when LD is accessing the hard drive.
The Bottom Line: I recommend this if you are a Palm lover, and if you know how to tinker with computers. Otherwise, stick with the new Palm TX which is more user friendly.
Review: When I decided to buy a new PDA, I did my research. Using www.pcworld.com, www.consumerreports.com, and www.amazon.com, I narrowed it down to the Dell Axim 53v and Palm LifeDrive. I actually went to the mall to hold the Dell (they have a Dell stand.) I ...

Pros: Storage, strong display, connectivity.
Cons: Battery life, aging operating system.
The Bottom Line: Good machine. I would buy it again.
Review: Before I purchased the LifeDrive, I spent a good deal of time carefully going through the reviews and the competitive products. Then I went to local retail outlets and tried out a variety of PDAs. Whatever someone buys needs to "fit" their particular ...

Cons: Bulky size, power consumption
